Bye-bye Hong Kong!

"Bye-bye" (high pitch) Hong Kong! (That's the cantonese for goodbye.) On Saturday some of mommy and daddy's friends got together for a baby shower for our friends Jen and Gordon. It was a good chance to see some friends before we left for the States.

After a very stressful morning for mom and dad (last minute packing, moving furniture out of our flat...and the infamous headache of not actually having plane tickets 2 hours before we were supposed to leave) we managed to make it to the airport and board the plane...several thousand dollars later. As for me, I couldn't have been happier running around and getting my last few pictures taken with complete strangers. Mom and dad say in America there will be lots of blond-haired blue-eyed kids. After we got the plane tickets, all of our luggage was overweight and our carry-ons were apparently too big as well, but I sat down on a bag, flashed my irresistable smile and bam, we got to take them after all, simple as that! Don't mention it mom and dad, this is what I do!
On the plane I was a real trooper. I played with the headphones, tray tables, windows, magazines and I ran up and down the aisles. I only slept 4 of the 16 hours we were in the plane but I was happy as a camper.
Oh and let me tell you a little story about what happened at the Chicago airport...
I got kissed right on the smacker by an older girl...and I liked it! Her name was Sarah and she was 3. First she told her mom that I was a cute baby and then she grabbed my face and planted one on me! I just stood there and then she did it again. After that I was puddy in her hands. I went up to her, puckered and asked for another one. Mom says I should play a little harder to get!

Welcome back to the states Jonah! Way to go at the airport. I bet that gave your parents a lot of relief. Whew that had to be stressful.

Jonah I was looking back through your blog and you have grown so much it made me sad. I think you should stay right where you are. Cute as can be! By the way, tell your mommy my mommy is still pregnant.

Hope it doesn't take long to adjust to life in the U.S.

I'll check in now and then to see how much you're growing and changing.

All the best!
