Bedtime Stories...by yours truly

I love my little brother. After our baths I get to read him his bedtime stories. He has two favorite books: What do you say and a book of nursery rhymes. We've read them lots and lots so I know all the words. Mom's favorite to listen to is hush little baby don't say a word because although I know all of the sayings, I don't always get them in the right order so apparently it's pretty funny, especially when I use my sweet singing voice.

SNOW!

We finally got some snow to play in! Last night it started snowing and Dad promised if it was still here in the morning then we would go play in it! Well, there wasn't much but enough to call school off so we bundled up and headed out! Ezekiel saw us getting ready so he went and grabbed his shoes, he didn't want to miss out on any fun!
I'm a little happy, can you tell? Look closely and you can see the itty bitty snowman Dad and I made!

Making Snow Angels!
I had to show Dad how to do it! (...or maybe it was the other way around...either way, here we are!) After we played for a while our little cheekies were getting quite red so we headed inside for some hot cocoa! I even got to add some marshmallows to mine!

"I'm stinky!"

Oh how I love baths! Lately I've been telling mom I'm stinky just so I can get in there and scrub up! Although Zekey isn't a huge fan of baths I love it when he gets in with me. He prefers to stand up but occassionaly he'll sit down and we'll splash eachother.

3 Years Old!

It's official now, I'm 3 years old. I woke up on my birthday and told mom I was going to eat a "Bear Cake" today. Then my friend Zander got to come over and played with me all morning! We had lots of fun, especially eating Cheerios together. After my nap Daddy came home and shortly after that we went to my favorite restaurant...The Thomas Restaurant (aka O'Naturals). They have a super cool Thomas the Train village set up and the food is pretty good too!

Then it was home to eat Bear Cake and open presents! I chose the bear's belly as my piece!
Believe it or not I was still excited to open gifts (even after all the Christmas presents) and before each one I asked, "Is this for me?" One time I said, "I'm going to open this and say 'Ooooohhh'". And I did! Everyone laughed. I even got to stay up extra late to play a little bit with my new toys. What a fun day!

Cool trick!

So I've had this bowl for over a year now and just discovered I can do this! I've been missing out on way too much fun!

Early Birthday!

When Ma and Pa were here they decided to throw me an early birthday party! Can't say no to that! Mom wanted to make me a bear cake because I often go by "Jonah Bear" and she knows that is not going to last too much longer but I insisted on a blue car cake. She tried talking me into it but I wouldn't budge. Reluctantly she made me one but on the day we celebrated I told my Pa that Ezekiel got a car cake on his birthday but I was going to get a "bear" cake. For some reason everyone laughed at that! Gotta keep that Mama on her toes! As you can see I did end up with the car cake and boy did I enjoy it! Rumor has it I'll get that bear cake too!
Ezekiel is wondering why I get cake and he's stuck with black-eyed peas and carrots!

35 months!

I'm a little behind considering my birthday is tomorrow...so I'm going to make this short and sweet.

Curious George!

For my (early) birthday Ma and Pa got me a membership to our Science Museum and they have Curious George there! I had so much fun checking out all the cool stuff! My favorite was the store and the cash register. They also had fun science stuff to do like roll balls down ramps, a dizzy tunnel and tons of other cool things to do. I can't wait to go back!

Nature Center

I took Ma and Pa to the Nature Center because they are the ones who got us a year long pass to go there whenever we want. They had never been there before so I showed them around!

Merry Christmas (Part II)

My Herzog grandparents came to visit me the day after Christmas so we got to celebrate again! It is so much fun to play with my Ma and Pa. Ma is the best cook ever and she reads books to me in the car! My Pa will play anything with me and I always pick him to read my bed time books to me. I have a few shout outs: thanks Uncle Scotty Bumps and Auntie Sarah for my cool tent! I love to read books in there. Lindy and Justin, the remote control car is the best (but it scares Ezekiel a little bit so I only get to play with it when he's taking a nap). Aunt Helen, who told you I LOVE Thomas? The trains are so fun and I love my carrying case! Aunt Linda and Uncle Dan, the clothes are great and I love the fun books you sent. Mom and dad are happy to read some new books to me too! Aunt Linda and Uncle Joe, thanks to you, I can show everyone how smart I am! You guys sure know how to spoil a guy!
