Cleaner boy!

After dinner tonight I got a bee in my bonnet and wanted to clean! While everyone else was still eating dinner I was looking through the cleaning supplies and came back wearing yellow gloves and carrying Clorox wipes. My mission: the tub and toilet! Dad had to take a picture and document this moment. (And of course Ezekiel had to get in on some of the action...couldn't let me have all the fun!)

3 years, 7 months

Another school year is under way and this is my last year to stay home with Mama! Preschool starts next year. Then I will get to go to school with Daddy, yeah! We are building a new house closer to Daddy's school and it should be done before Christmas. I've been busy helping mom choose things for our new house. First I wanted it to be red, but now I'm thinking bright blue. I'm not sure she's taking my suggestions seriously... But I'm very excited to have a big yard to play in soon!

NC Zoo

Last week we got to meet up with some of our friends from Hong Kong! The Abline's (Dennis, Shelley, Naomi, Janaya and Micah) now live in Egypt but we got to catch up with them at the NC Zoo!

"Joh" the Turtle

Last week when Ezekiel and I went to the store with Dad we came home to a turtle in our house! Mom found it on the road and thought we might like to see it before finding a safer place for it. I liked it but unlike Ezekiel I was not at all interested in touching it! I did name it though. Mom thought I was going to name it Franklin but "Joh" seemed to be a better fit. After we played with it for a few minutes we returned it to the woods so it could find it's mommy and daddy.

Blueberry Hill

Have you ever read the book Blueberries for Sal? Well, just an hour drive and 10 tunnels away, we have a place just like Little Sal right here! We went there with our good friends Kathryn and Luke and of course their parents. Unfortunately the blueberries weren't quite ripe yet but we still had lots of fun throwing rocks in the water and running around in the woods. Hopefully we'll make it back up there in a couple weeks when the berries will be ready for picking!

Fun Depot!

This place is so cool! There were so many fun games to play we didn't have enough time to do them all. I loved the bowling game, especially when we figured out how to put up the bumper lanes. You can tell by my pictures I'm a natural and have great form!





The soft play area was pretty cool too. Ezekiel and I ran around and went down slides until we were both drenched with sweat! I can't wait to go back here...and lucky for me it's gonna be real soon because my buddy Jake is having his birthday party here! Yippee!

Ma's Birthday!

All summer long I've wanted to go to the beach and see a lighthouse and as fate would have it, that's exactly what Ma wanted to do on her birthday! We had such a fun day but I must say the chocolate cake at the end of the day was my favorite part! I even got to help Ma blow out the candles!
