Warm Fall days!

We've had some unusually warm days lately so we've been playing outside lots! My favorite thing to do is ride down the road in my little car. Mom is really looking forward to having a yard for us to play in but I think I'm gonna miss this old parking lot! Luckily it's not a very busy place or we wouldn't be able to have this much fun!

Here's me in action!

Happy Halloween!

This year I wanted to be a lion for Halloween! Good thing it was chilly outside because this costume was toasty! All day I kept asking, "Is it trick-or-treat time yet?"

In the morning we went to Nana's house to carve our pumpkins into Jack-o-lanterns! Mom drew some pumpkin faces and I picked out a scary one for her to carve! I tried to help scoop out the pumpkin guts but it was a bit too messy for me!

The one on the left is my "scary" one and the one with the pacy Daddy made for Ezekiel!
After my nap Papa went with us to a "Trunk or Treat" party at a nearby church. My favorite was the bouncy slide!

Then it was home for some neighborhood trick or treating!
Quote of the day:
Jonah: "Trick-or-treat!"
Man: "Only treats here."
Jonah: "Sorry but we have to trick you too!"

Happy Halloween!

Swimming like a whale!

"I'm so brave" I like to tell Mama as I'm about the jump off the diving board! And I finally made a breakthrough with my swimming! For a while I only had one arm that worked in the water but now look at me!

Happy Birthday Pop!

Last weekend was also my great grandpa's birthday! He is 83 years young! Ezekiel and I call him Popperdoodledug! I even got to help him open his gifts and this year Zeke and I got him a train called Culdee. You see, Pop has a train track at his house that we play with when we visit him (I'm sure he plays with it when we're not there too)! I also got to put the candles in his cake and help him blow them out! The best part was the cake! Happy Birthday Pop! We love you!

Skytop Orchard

Last weekend we hit our last pumpkin patch for the year! I loved running around and playing but I think my favorite part was the yummy donut I got!

Hickory Nut Gap

Although this pumpkin patch didn't have cow rides, it did have a great maze (just my size). We had to answer trivia questions and choose which path to take.
We found lots of cool wooly worms which I carefully picked up and placed out of the way.
We played in a giant haystack!
I cheesed it up as a scarecrow!
And got kisses from a baby goat!

Treats!

No tricks in here! Just treats!
Thanks Uncle Scotty Bumps and Auntie Sarah! Mom thinks her treats were the best but I'm pretty sure my scary pumpkin thing is cooler! And I used my new pen to draw lines all over myself...just wanted to see what it was like to be a zebra! We even got to eat the chocolates this year!

Pumpkin Time!

I've been waiting all year for pumpkin time! Last year I had so much fun running through the corn mazes, I couldn't wait to do it again! There are lots of orchards around here and I plan on touring them all! Our first stop was called "Grandad's".
First we checked out the animals.
Then we posed (some better than others) for a Harvest picture. Dad, you're making us look bad!
Drove a tractor!
Made friends with a scarecrow!
Checked out some apples.
Then off to the corn maze! This year we had to find 5 different tractor signs hidden in the maze.
I got to ride on Daddy's shoulders so I could help spot them!

My favorite part of the whole days was the cow ride! I chose one named Lady. It was a long ride too! We went all around the farm, over lots of bumps!
Then before heading home I showed off my muscles for the girls! What a fun day!

Build and Grow!

Now I see why mom always wants to go to Lowes! Although she never comes home with stuff this cool. I'm building a fire truck today!
Mom and I were a team this time and she's showing me how to read the directions...unlike Dad and Ezekiel who had to take theirs apart and start over!

After a few pounds with the hammer I got a bit bored so I took over the camera duties! Here's a cool police car!
Nice pumpkin.
My blue baby!
A real fire truck!
Nana showing Zekey the fire truck.
The fire truck was cool but I was more into the ambulance. I found a nice comfy chair and made myself at home!
