Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! I traveled to Georgia to visit my great Aunt and Uncle (Rob and Con) for Easter and here are all the pics! Mom and dad said we were going to a park to play but this was no ordinary park! I rode a pony named Pepper, got to sit in a real fire truck, chased down and rode a train and got my picture taken with the Easter bunny!
Mom was a little scared to sit by the Easter bunny so I sat down with her (or maybe that was the other way around...whatever).

Well I was a bit confused because I didn't see any slides or swings at this park so when it was time to go I suggested that we go to a different park. (And we did!)

On Easter morning I found my basket sitting on the front porch and boy was I happy! Thanks, G'Ma, G'Pa, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Scotty Bumps for all the goodies! Zekey doesn't know it but I'm going to play with all of his toys too! And thanks Papa for the cute outfit!

Next it was time to dye eggs! I was a natural. By the end it did get pretty messy though.
I went on several egg hunts and that was fun too except occasionally I would see an ant by the egg I was about to pick up and then I made someone else get it for me. The only bugs I like are grasshoppers, I am terrified of ants and ladybugs...go figure.

St. Patrick's Day!

Dad got caught not wearing GREEN...you know what that means! He got pinched!

My great Grandma and Pop came over to visit today and brought me pizza for lunch, yum! And since my Pop was rocking Zeke I wanted him to rock me too!

Park!

Ahhh, the park! The weather turned nice again so the past few afternoons have been spent at the park! I love it here! It is designed specifically for children under 5 and the ground is made of that soft squishy material so when you fall it doesn't hurt. My favorite is the tunnel slide and lately I've learned to climb up the slides. Sometimes I fall and slide back down on my belly but that's fun too so I don't mind.

Yesterday I wanted to climb through a tunnel but there was a little girl in front of me so I politely put my hands behind my back and said, "girls first". Mom and dad aren't sure where I picked this up from but they say I am quite a gentleman. Another episode included a boy coming up to me and asking if I was a baby. I looked him square in the eye and said, "No, I'm a big boy". He looked a little confused and walked away. Mom and dad like to watch me interact with other kids. For some reason it makes them laugh!

26 months!

I'm not sure when we stop counting in months...and I'm not sure when mom is going to stop taking my picture with this silly ball. As long as I let her I guess. Here are a few pics from our photo shoot:

Pumping Iron!

It's never too early to start working out. Dad and I go to the gym after school during the week to pump a little iron. I get to play with dad's friend, Rick, and he is so fun! He runs with me and I help him with the heavy weights. We make a good team!

New haircut!

Yesterday my Nana and I went to get out hair cut together. I've gotten it cut here before but last time the camera was out of batteries...

Joanne is the name of my hair cutter and she is real nice. I sat in the chair all by myself and we said "bye bye hair" as she cut it. Mom told her to cut it real short this time but doesn't she know it's still winter?! Brrrrr! But she says I look real handsome with my new do!
Dad barely recognized me when he saw me! He says next time he gets to buzz it...yikes!

Nursery Rhymes and other news

Yep, I'm still taking my monthly pictures. I'm 2 years and 1 month old. My vocabulary is ever expanding and mom says I'm learning something new every day. I went in for my wellness check a couple weeks ago and I'm strong and healthy. I weigh 32 lbs. When the doctor was listening to me breathe he put his stethescope on my chest and back and suddenly I said, "Oh! Just like Nicky bunny!" Mom had been reading me this book to prep me for my visit to the doctor. Even the shot wasn't so bad because I knew it was coming and I knew it would only hurt for a minute.

And for your viewing entertainment... here I am reciting "Little Miss Muffet".

Happy Valentine's Day!

A kiss for my sweet baby brother...
One picture with mom...

Enough already! This Valentine's stuff is too mushy for me!
P.S. Thanks for the package Ma and Pa! I loved everything except that squishy bug thing. In no uncertain terms I told mom and dad that I was scared of that thing!

Snug as a bug in a rug!

Aahhh...bed. There's nothing like it! After my bath with Zekey we get our jammies on and start our bedtime routine. First I tell Zekey James goodnight. Tonight I actually climbed in his little crib to kiss him. At first he was sort of afraid of me but now he likes me a lot. I call him beautiful and he gives me the best smiles. After we get all dressed, lotioned up and powdered (mom likes us to smell good) we go read books on the couch. Next, teeth brushing, then off to my blue room to read one more book, give lots of diving hugs, say our prayers and sing my 2 favorite songs (Jesus loves me this I know and Jesus loves the little children). Then after all that, mom climbs into bed with me and does the whole routine all over one more time. It's a little crowded in there with all my blankets and babies but she can't resist snuggle time with me! After the last song is sung I tell her to "get up now Mama" and remind her to come get me when it gets light out in the morning. I still love my sleep!

Herzog Look-alike Meter

Everyone is always asking who I look like. Well, mom saw this cool thing on a friend's blog and now you have it, I look more like mom!
